No — Sage is a companion, not a doctor. Sage will never give medical advice, diagnose conditions, or recommend treatments. If you ask a health question, Sage will suggest you talk to your doctor and can even save the question for your next visit.
On iPhone: Open Sage in Safari, tap the Share button (the box with an arrow), then tap Add to Home Screen. On Android: Tap the three-dot menu in Chrome, then tap Add to Home Screen. This lets you open Sage like a regular app.

Yes! On the Medications screen, tap the green Taken badge next to the medication you want to undo. It will be unmarked so you can take it at the right time.

When your family leaves you a message through the family dashboard, Sage will pass it along during your next conversation — woven in naturally, as if a friend is sharing good news. You may also get a notification on your phone letting you know a message is waiting. Just tap the notification or start a conversation with Sage.
Just ask Sage! Say things like "Remind me to call my daughter Sunday at noon" or "Remind me to water the plants every Monday morning." Sage will set the reminder and send you a notification at the right time. You can also find your reminders by tapping the Reminders tile on your home screen.
Go to mysagecompanion.com/family and enter the Family Code your loved one shared with you. You can find their Family Code in the Sage app under Settings. The dashboard shows their medication adherence, recent activity, open alerts, and more.
In the family dashboard, go to the Overview tab and find the "Leave a Message" panel. Type your message and tap Send. Sage will pass it along warmly during their next conversation — and your loved one will get a notification letting them know a message is waiting.
The Engagement Score (0–100) shows how actively your loved one has been using Sage over the past 7 days. It takes into account daily conversations, medication tracking, and morning greeting activity. A score above 80 means they're thriving. If you see "Needs Attention," it may be time to check in or send an encouraging message.
In the family dashboard, click the Profile tab (the second tab). You'll see fields for hobbies, interests, family member names, health conditions, favorite topics, and more. Fill these in and Sage will use them to have more personal, meaningful conversations. The more you add, the more personalized Sage becomes.
Go to the Alerts tab in the family dashboard and find the Alert Preferences card. Toggle on inactivity alerts and choose your threshold — 12, 24, 48, or 72 hours. You'll receive an alert in the dashboard (and by email once that feature is fully enabled) if your loved one hasn't talked to Sage within that time.
The Activity tab in the family dashboard shows a bar chart of your loved one's Sage usage over the last 7 days. Blue bars represent conversations with Sage; green bars represent medication events. Use this to spot patterns — like if they tend to go quiet on weekends.
Yes. The Family Code can be shared with multiple trusted family members. Each person who uses the code will see the same dashboard for your loved one. This makes it easy for siblings or other caregivers to stay on the same page.
Ask your loved one to go to Settings in the Sage app and enable the Morning Greeting, choosing their preferred time. If they need help, you can walk them through it over the phone — it's a simple toggle and time picker. Once enabled, Sage will send them a warm good morning notification every day.
